Hello, world!
To whomever finds themselves reading this... Hi! Hello! Greetings! My name's Fen Chidester, though I'm legally known as Scarlette Chidester. (he/him, if you're curious.)
I'm (unfortunately) not originally from Vermont, but now I'm here! I grew up in Utah, moved to Texas for both my middle and high school years, lived in Colorado for a year and a half after graduating high school, and now I've lived here in Vermont for almost a full year! I moved here in November of 2024 to be closer to my mom after my partner and I figured out how truly unsustainable living in Colorado really is.

I have a passion for volunteering and can be found flitting around events I attend helping out with any manner of things. (Maybe it's a side effect of my graduation requirements, but I don't really mind. It brings me joy!) I love helping people! I love problem solving! In my personal time, I have quite the array of hobbies I've dedicated myself to. I write, read, hike, cook and bake, and have a variety of various video games I really enjoy. I also really enjoy sewing, embroidery, and beadwork, which all tie into my love for cosplay. Go big or go home! I say, which leads me to projects such as handmaking and beading entire costumes myself.
I've got a cat who I really do adore. His name is Citrine, and he's a two year old dilute orange tabby. He's currently sleeping beside me as I type this, actually! → → →I pride myself on my dedication and my learning ability. I consider myself incredibly adaptable, and a quick learner. I love to learn things about people, and to meet new faces, however brief that may be. (It made me extremely good at the customer-facing part of all my past jobs!)
